Carson,
During your presentation at PAG, you mentioned the CEGMA software package
that identifies the locations of a set of highly conserved eukaryotic genes
in a genome assembly. If I remember correctly, you said that this program
could be used to compare and/or resolve differences between assemblies
generated by difference software packages. I breezed over the 2007
*Bioinformatics
*paper on CEGMA and this application of CEGMA was not apparently clear to
me. Did I miss something from the paper or is this a novel application of
CEGMA or did I simply misunderstand you at PAG?
