I talked to Hadi.  He will remove the error for not selecting an EST database.

You should be able to still submit data without ESTs, as long as you
already have an HMM model for SNAP or one of the other gene prediction
algorithms.  Although it is possible that the webservice is throwing
an error when no EST data is submitted (Hadi can answer this, he is
Cc’ed on the e-mail).  MAKER itself does not absolutely require EST
data to run correctly.
